Under the patronage of Professor Ghassan Aouad, the President of  ASU, the Deanship of the Students Affairs and Evening Studies held a celebration to honor 47 distinguished and talented students.

 On this occasion, the President congratulated the students and expressed his happiness at their level of academic achievement. He assured them that the university is keen to support the distinguished students financially. He added that the main concern of the university is the students’ academic level. He said that he hopes the students will continue their efforts and hard work to be active members in society and their nation.

 In his speech he also said that the university is happy to have students who not only love knowledge and are deeply interested in learning but also keen to participate in the activities of their university.  In recognition of the efforts of its outstanding students, ASU university will continue to support them and offer them all the necessary help.

 He added: “We moved to the new university campus that was built according to the best specifications and this new campus will contribute in enriching the education process in order to serve our students and our beloved Kingdom. Professor Ghassan Aouad encouraged the students to participate in all activities and this will contribute to defining their personalities and give them greater experiences in life.

 Dr. Nihad Jabbori, the Dean of the Students Affairs and Evening Studies also addressed the students and congratulated them students and their parents for the achievements of their sons and daughters. He said in his speech that the university is always keen to honor its distinguished students. This will enhance the reputation of the university and highlight the advancement and the distigusihed level of the students in all aspects. Dr. Jabbori added that the university has always been keen to provide an appropriate environment that contributes in building an integrated student personality from the intellectual, social and psychological aspects. He also said that ASU is always keen to devote all its financial and moral abilities to serve the students. This can be achieved through a clear-cut strategy, and an integrated scientific approach compatible with the academic plans that are implemented at the university.
