The Launch of “Students Online Services – SOS”
A great Initiative from the Deanship of Student Affairs
On 16 May 2018, the Students Services Office at the Deanship of Student Affairs launched its new online system “Student Online Services – SOS” in the presence of Professor Waheeb Al Khaja, Chairman of Board of Trustees; Professor Ghassan Aouad, University President; Vice Presidents; Deanship of Student Affairs; Director of Administration and Finance; Directorate of ICT; Directorate of Marketing and Public Relations; and Student Council members.
This online user-friendly student services system is part of the continuous development of the Deanship of Student Affairs. In addition to our open door policy, the system will enable all students at ASU to have easy access and communicate with the Deanship of Student Affairs staff anytime and from anywhere. The system offers our students the possibility to easily place their requests, complaints, or suggestions related academic, finance, health and safety, personal issues and other matters. In addition, the system also offers access to students with special needs so that they can have direct contact with the Deanship anytime and anywhere. The System will greatly enhance the opportunity for students to share their opinions while at the same time allowing for a prompt response to their queries, concerns or suggestions.
Professor Waheeb Al Khaja and Professor Ghassan Aouad were very pleased with this great achievement as it will increase the effectiveness and the efficiency of the Deanship in supporting our students during their student life at ASU. Great appreciation and thanks were expressed to the Deanship of Student Affairs for this great accomplishment and to the Directorate of ICT for their valuable and hard work in turning this initiative into reality.
