On 16 November 2016, the newly elected student council members had their first official meeting with the President, Prof. Ghassan Aouad to introduce their vision, goals and aspirations towards  their pivotal role in representing  the students at the Applied Science University.

Another meeting was also held on the same day, with the Vice President of Academic Affairs & Developemnt, all Colleges Deans, and the Director of Admissions and Registration, to introduce themselves and discuss some of the most pertinent issues and challenges the students are facing. The meetings were very fruitful, all parties were very pleased with the inplace taken decisions and the agreed future plan.
