ASU organized an entertainment for its academic staff, their families and the students. The celebration included  folklore activities, Bahraini food and this entertainment day coincides with  the fourteenth anniversary of the National Charter.

The executive director of the board of directors  and the founder of the university Prof. Waheeb khaja congratulated the kingdom on the occasion the National Charter assuring  that the reform accomplishments  of  his majesty the king was the  best achievement  in Bahrain.

He added that  this occasion is a chance for all of us to remember the glory  of Bahrain  and review the unique civilized achievements.

Prof Ghassan Awad said that the ASU is proud to participate with the kingdom of Bahrain these celebrations on this auspicious occasion and this great day at the history of the country.

Mrs. Ruqaya Mohsen, the director of public relations described the national charter as the bright light in the sky of  modern Bahrain adding that the charter was the base for the basic democratic change that produced the most important political document in the  modern history of Bahrain according to which  a long history and many years were summarized in 14 years, and accordingly, Bahrain and its people achieved  what other countries could not achieve in hundreds of years.

She indicated that this  activity  comes within the framework of  the celebrations of the Kingdom  on the occasion of the  National Charter and the ASU was keen to celebrate this occasion in order to consolidate the values of belonging to Bahrain  and thanked the board of directors of the university for all the facilities that they had offered in order to ensure the success of this activity and thanked the deanship of the students affairs for their sincere efforts and their cooperation  with the university.
