workshop on SME’s Finance
As part of ASU commitment to Entrepreneurship, Prof Saad Darwish Presidents’ Advisor for Special Projects attended a workshop on SME’s Finance delivered by Mr Khalid Shehab from Strathclyde University. The event was sponsored by SME’s Society in Bahrain. The talk was about funding during business life cycle and the types of funding. The speaker covered all types of funding (Seed funding, startup financing, early growth financing, expansion financing,and replacement financing). He explained to the audience how to deal with the stages of equity financing and the problems associated with it. It was stimulating and well received by businessmen and researchers who attended the lecture. Discussions concentrated on future economic challenges affecting financing different projects. We anticipate next event which will be hosted by ASU.
