Lecture on ‘Diabetes and Its Risk’
On the occasion of the Cultural Season of the College of Law, a lecture was held about Diabetes and Its Risks”. It was delivered by Dr Raoof Hamed Othman, the advisor of Family Medicine at the Ministry of Health/Assistant Professor at the Arab Gulf University.
The lecture was very informative and was attended by many of the students and academic staff who raised different questions afterwards.
The topics discussed in the lectures covered the following:
- Diabetes in Bahrain and the Middle East
- Pre-diabetes stage
- Lifestyle change to avoid diabetes
- Methods of treatment
