ASU Community Engagement’s (CE) aim is to contribute and make a difference to the community that we live in.

On Saturday, 4 December 2015, Prof Saad Darwish, Dr Hooreya Aldeeb and Dr Mohammed Alaa, members of the CE committee attended and contributed to an event for the disabled in Bahrain. The University team was welcomed by Mrs Muneera bin Hindi, Head of Bahrain Mobility International (BMI), Goodwill Ambassador.

Prof Darwish addressed the audience and talked about the commitment of ASU and emphasised the importance of supporting the disabled in Bahrain.

The university donated gifts as a gesture of support and respect. Thanks should go to Mr. Mohamed Yousif VP Admin & Finance and Community Engagement (Head of the Committee) for his full support and to Miss Hana Dwesan, a member in the committee, who helped immensely in the preparations for this event.
