Dr. Alsammarraee and Dr. Alshareeda of the college of Administrative Sciences have passed the requirements for obtaining the certificate of the Auditor and the Global Shari’ah Advisor (CSAA) from the Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI). AAOIFI is an institution accredited by many Islamic financial institutions and central banks in the world for specialised training programme in the Islamic finance industry.

The certificate entitles the holder with all the rights and privileges to work in the field of auditing and consulting on the subject of Islamic banking. The holder has the legal knowledge and professional skills necessary in the field of supervision and follow-up legality in the international banking and financial sector.

The certificate holder will have advanced knowledge in the various fields of Shari’ah supervision and follow-up in the financial institutions; the relationship between the Shari’ah Supervisory Board and the internal Shari’ah supervision and follow-up processes; the followup mechanism to implement the decisions and advisory opinions of the Shari’ah bodies.
