The A.S.U will host the “The third social media pioneers forum” SMMF2015, that will be held under the patronage of the Minister of Transportation and Communication Kamal Bin Ahmed. The programme includes lectures and workshops that will be held at the university campus and will be
beneficial for the students in addition to different sectors of the Bahraini society.

Regarding this initiative, the president of the ASU, Prof. Ghassan Awad said that he is more than happy that the university was chosen for this activity because this occasion will be very beneficial for both the university students and the Bahraini society.  The aim of the university is  to serve the Bahraini society in particular and the gulf states in general.

Awad assured that the university is ready to help by its potentials and its infrastructure in order to support all the activities of the international social media club and praised the role of the club in serving the Bahraini society.

The head of the International Social Media Club Ali Sabkar expressed his best thanks and appreciations  for the A.S.U for its cooperation and offering all the facilities in order to hold this activity and the program of the “Ideal Investment of the social media for the students.”

Ali Sabkar  explained that the club will benefit out of its accumulated experiences regarding the activities, meetings, and workshops in order to make such an event a great success and said that cooperation  in holding such activities will be very fruitful in building partnership and consolidate access to different sectors of the society.
