The ASU Organizes a Gathering for its Previous Graduates
Remembering the memories of the past, the ASU organized a gathering that included more than 350 graduates since 2006 and up to the last group of graduates. Some of those graduates are now in a senior positions in the private and government sectors. The aim of this gathering is to build bridges and links between the university and its graduates because they are the ambassadors of the university and its representatives and they always reflect what they had learned.
The gathering was organized by the professional development office at the student affairs deanship. The gathering included different activities and it started with a speech by the executive director of the Board of Directors Prof. Waheeb Khaja, then the president of the University Prof. Ghassan delivered a presentation titled “Leaders Are they Born or Made” and at the end, the attendance launched the account of the profession development office at the Instagram.
Prof. Khaja said in his speech that this celebration is a good chance in order to retrieve the old memories that the students lived at the university expressing his happiness for this big number of the graduates who attended the celebration and this reflects the educational awakening and the advancement and prosperity Bahrain is going through under the wise leadership of the country.
The president of the university Prof. Ghassan said in his presentation that leadership is not limited on certain persons instead any person can be a leader in his field adding that the most beautiful hours of life are those spent at the university hoping all the success for the graduates and wishing the university always to be a place for virtue as it must be.
On the other hand, the students affairs dean said that the university is celebrating this gathering with its graduates because they were and still are part of the university and ready to do anything in order to be always in touch with them.
