The British Council hosted its Annual UK Alumni Gala Dinner as part of the BH-UK 200 Celebration and British Council’s Alumni Programme at Four Season Hotel. The event aimed to strengthen ties between UK alumni in Bahrain for both seasoned and fresh UK graduates, and remain connected with the UK.

The British Ambassador HE  Simon Martin, and Dr. Dahfer Al Omran undersecretary for GCC, addressed the audience and gave summary of the relations between Bahrain and UK.

Colleagues from ASU, Prof Saad Darwish, Prof Hilal Yousif, Prof Siddiq Ameen and Dr. Ahmed Arbab attended the Gala dinner.
