In order to encourage the spirit of democracy between the students and encourage them  to participate in the university activities, ASU held electionsfor the Ninth Students’ Council. Fifteen students out of 23 were voted in.

The President of ASU congratulated the students who won in the elections. He said that the elections are of great value and reflect the democratic approach of the ASU.

Dr. FayzaZaitooni, Dean of the Student Affairs said that the deanship supported the candidates and this will enhance the role of the council to represent students effectively. She also thanked all the candidates for their efforts. She said that those participating in the elections gained valuable experience showing courage and determination to participate.
