A lecture titled The Most Suitable Laws in order to Transfer Goods by Sea to Bahrain”. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Hisham Shokri Baban, the assistant prof. of the commercial law on Thursday 26 June 2014. The lecturer talked about a group of international agreements that organizes transferring goods by sea and some of these agreements were implelemented since a long period of time. An example is Lahai agreement of the year 1924 and its protocols in 1968 and 1979. The agreement of Hamburg which was implemented in November 1992 but some articles of these agreements were not signed till now and were not implemented but they will get signed starting from 2009 . They are called the rules of Rotterdam. When it comes to agreements, the Arab countries signed whatever suits their interests.
