The President of Applied Science University visited the Higher Education Accreditation Council in Jordan
Manama – Applied Science University: Dr. Waheeb Al-Khaja the president of Applied Science University accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Yousef the Consultant of the President for Administrative and Financial Affairs visited the Higher Education Accreditation Council in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan where they met Dr. Bashir Al-Zubi the director of the Council; the two parties asserted the importance of strengthening the cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two countries especially in the field of accreditation and quality assurance.
The President of the university asserted the importance of this visit which aims to explore the experiences of the Jordanian Higher Education Accreditation Council in the field of accreditation and quality assurance, noting that the university is keen to cooperate with the universities and the educational institutions which have well-known scientific reputation internationally and regionally.
For his part, Dr. Al-Zoubi reviewed the role of the council in upgrading the performance of Jordanian higher education institutions whether public or private, enhancing their competitiveness at the national, regional and global levels, applying the Jordanian regulations and standards of accreditation and quality which harmonize with the regulations and standards in advanced countries and enabling the Jordanian universities to become knowledge exporter.
In conclusion, the two parts expressed pride in Bahraini- Jordanian relations and the growing development in all regional and international forums, stressing on the depth and durability of the ties of brotherhood, cooperation, coordination and common destiny.
