The President of Applied Science University Met Jordanian Minister of Higher Education

The President of Applied Science University Dr. Waheeb Al-Khaja visited the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, where he met the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Prof. Amin Mahmoud. The two sides discussed the possibility of cooperation in various fields.
Al-Khaja praised the role of the Ministry of Higher Education in supporting the Jordanian universities which have a distinguished place on the map of advanced and modern educational institutions and export the distinguished human resources; such human resources are able to compete regionally and globally.
Al-Khaja noted that the university moved to the new campus which was established in accordance with the highest international standards and specifications. He added that the new campus is spacious and includes modern classrooms, pointing out that the university consists of three faculties which are Administrative Sciences Faculty, Arts and Sciences Faculty and the Law Faculty. Also, the university offers nine BA majors and five master majors.
On his part, Dr. Amin Mahmoud expressed his happiness to meet Al-Khaja, stressing the depth of the relations between Bahrain and Jordan in particular in the field of higher education and scientific research. Dr. Mahmoud pointed out that this visit embodies the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries, stressing the importance of promoting educational and cultural exchange between the various educational institutions in the two countries.
