Applied Science University participated in Bahrain International Book Fair

Applied Science University participated in the 16th Bahrain International Book Fair which was held under the Patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC).
In this context, the university is keen to participate periodically in the Book Fair because of its importance in highlighting the role of the intellectual and cultural heritage of the kingdom. The fair includes a large number of Arab and foreign books and literature published by well-known Arab and international publishing houses.
A group of national and Arab figures visited the corner of the university in the fair; they praised the importance of books series published by Applied Science University in supplying Bahrain and Arab library with this series in order to achieve benefit for researchers and students.
The President of the University Dr. Wahib alKhaja stated that the university issued (40) book up to now, which are a series of legal, administrative and political books written by the faculty members at the university and the collaborative members.
Dr. alKhaja clarified that the legal, administrative and political book series contains several volumes covering various courses and different cognitive and practical skills.
Dr. alKhaja stressed that this series of publications comes within the frame of the university message and its commitment to support the scientific research realizing the importance of developing and supporting societies in order to improve the outcomes of education.
For his part, the director of Applied Science
University library Mr. Ammar Jalamna said that this participation contributed positively to feed the university library with more updated editions of books and references in law, business administration, accounting, design and humanities and applied sciences.
He stressed that the university always strives, as an academic institution representing the Kingdom of Bahrain, for participating in the book fairs inside and outside Bahrain for their importance in highlighting the role of civilized societies.
