Applied Science University participates in 20th Al-Ayam Cultural Festival
Applied Science University participated in 20th Al-Ayam Cultural Festival for books which was under the patronage of Deputy Premier His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa and was inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Mohammad Bin Ebrahim Al Mutawa State Minister for Follow-up, with a large participation from more than 150 Bahraini, Arab and international publishing houses.
The University was honored when HE Dr. Al-Mutawa visited the university section, HE viewed a series of books issued by the university and he praised the important role that the university plays in enriching the educational process in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gulf states through providing the Arab library with instructive set of scientific books.
On the sidelines of the book fair, the sident of the university Dr. Wahib Khaja stated that the university issued (40) books up to now, which are a series of legal, administrative and political books authored by the faculty members and the collaborative doctors, clarifying that the legal, administrative and political books series contain several volumes covering various courses that contain different cognitive and practical skills.
Dr. Khaja expressed his happiness to present the series of books which are authored by the professors of Applied Science University in Bahrain that come as a result of our believe of their great effect upon the Bahraini library in special and the Arab library in general. Dr. Khaja stressed that these series publications come within the frame of university message and its commitment to support the scientific research realizing the importance of developing and supporting societies in order to improve the outcome of education. He clarified that the university is interested in the intellectual and cultural events since it is fully aware of the importance of encouraging the safe environment and supporting innovation and innovators in the cultural aspect to serve the country and society.
