Applied Science University holds “My camera expresses what I see” Gallery
Dr. Waheeb Al-khaja ,the President of Applied Science University inaugurated “my camera expresses what I see” Gallery held by the Dean of Student Affairs in the Arts Center at Bahrain National Museum to highlight the tourist and cultural places in Manama, the capital of Arab tourism.
The idea of the gallery is represented by the students who take photos and publish them on the official instagram account of the university and then collect these photos and choose the best among them after the publishing. The gallery shows distinguished photos for tourist areas and archaeological sites. Al Areen Wildlife Park photo which was taken by the student Khaled Al-Otaibi was the best according to the audience choice.In the same context, the Dean of Students Affairs organized a group of trips to various areas of Bahrain with the participation of a large number of photography enthusiasts of university students in order to take photos of tourist, historical and archaeological sites.
For his part, Dr. Nihad al-Jubouri, the Dean of Student Affairs asserted that the student’s participation in this gallery through the large variety of the photos is a proof to the success of the gallery. Dr. al-Jubour pointed out that the photos express accurately and efficiently the tourism in Bahrain.
In this occasion, Dr. Wahib Ahmed Al Khaja thanked the Dean of Student Affairs, the Department of Student Affairs and the University Student Council due to establishing this gallery which roots the tourist areas in the Kingdom of Bahrain in the students’ memory and establishes the concept of belonging to the homeland. Dr. Al Khaja has emphasized the continuous support of the University for such events because they have a great effect on society.
